Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty Procedures
In the past, surgical procedures have been the only solution to fix nasal imperfections. Surgical rhinoplasty is an extremely invasive surgery with a lengthy recovery time, and expensive price tag. For people who do not want to have a surgical procedure to correct imperfections with the nose, non-surgical rhinoplasty might be an excellent choice. A doctor will still be able to correct imperfections with the nose, such as smoothing out bumps, improving symmetry, and reducing nasal deformations with a simple filler. Patients can expect to be in the office for about 20 to 30 minutes to have the procedure performed. First, the doctor will numb the nasal area to prepare for non-surgical rhinoplasty. A filler will be injected under the skin to help improve the overall look of the nose. Fillers can be any brand, but typically Juvederm, Perlane, or Restylane are used for this application. Immediately following the procedure, patients may experience redness or tenderness around the nasal area. These symptoms typically improve within hours, and many people can return to work following a procedure.
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is an excellent choice for people who are not ready to commit to a surgical rhinoplasty. Having the non-invasive treatment performed can give the patient an idea of what a complete rhinoplasty surgery will look like.
